Systems Administrator (Linux)

Your responsibility will be helping us maintain our reputation for availability, performance, and security. You will be in charge of setting up and maintaining our IT architecture and become a key contributor to developing and implementing our technical plan for growth. You'll also share responsibility of providing support for our clients with any technical questions they may have.

Requirements

  • Fantastic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Several years of Linux system administration experience.
  • Experience implementing fast, reliable and secure servers and networks.
  • Experience with Mail Agents.
  • Familiarity with Distributed Version Control System (DVCS).
  • Experience with our stacks: Apache or Nginx, PHP, MySQL.
  • Programming experience in at least one administrative language (shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of domains.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • A passion for professional system administration practice.
  • Experience with PCI DSS compliance is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Experience with setting VPN is an asset, but not necessary.
  • May involve work after hours and being on call.
